About The Mortgage Advice Service
The Mortgage Advice Service helps people across Scotland with first-time buyer, remortgage and buy-to-let mortgages, alongside poor-credit cases and insurance. Advisers research a comprehensive range of products and can access lenders and deals unavailable on the high street.
A dedicated adviser can complete mortgage paperwork and liaise with lenders, solicitors and surveyors. Appointments are available seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, with advice offered face to face or by phone. Advice is generally free, although fees apply in specified circumstances, including some smaller loans and debt-consolidation cases.
